Mirabelle Jones is a performance artist and visual artist operating out of Northern and Southern California. A master of multiple mediums with a focus in interactive installation, artists' books and endurance performance, her work explores activism through art or how a performance or object can be the catalyst for producing positive societal change by way of promoting discourse. She possesses an MFA in Book Art and Creative Writing from Mills College and her works have been heralded in the Huffington Post, ArtNet, ATTN, Bustle, Ms. Magazine, Sleek Magazine, Feminist Magazine, and beyond. She is the community arts organizer for Hollaback! LA and founder of Art Against Assault, an organization which seeks to raise awareness on the subject of sexual assault through fine arts activism and performance.
