Disruption: Innovation vs. Incumbents

CODAME has been invited to bring ART+TECH to the Young Leaders Circle event, from the Pacific Research Institute for a conversation with Katie Biber.

The "sharing economy" used to be a buzzword only Silicon Valley insiders spoke -- but these days, it crosses the lips of every politician trying to be cool. Join us for a conversation on breaking rules, following rules, and everything in between.

WHEN: Wed, January 11, 2017, 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM PST

WHERE: Maritime Wine Tasting Studio, 222 Columbus Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94133

RSVP on Eventbrite

Katie currently serves as general counsel at Thumbtack. Previously, she was senior counsel at Airbnb and before that she served as general counsel to the Romney for President Campaign. Katie is a frequent speaker on topics such as politics, tech, and the overlap between the two, as well as strategies to increase the presence of women in both industries.

Donald Hanson will present his GifSlap project by creating strange and colorful patterns that loop and shimmer with the playback of GIFs. This was designed as a live visual to enhance electronic music shows, but it can also be used to create compelling compositions and net art. So come and experience the age of disruption for yourself!
