Brian Knep's works range from large-scale, interactive installations to microscopic sculptures built for nematodes. He has exhibited extensively around the US and internationally and has grants and awards from Creative Capital, Americans for the Arts, Ars Electronica, and others. Beyond his artistic practice, Knep collaborates with museums to design and develop interactive educational installations. He worked at Industrial Light and Magic early in his career, receiving two Academy Awards for his contributions. Knep holds degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from Brown University and has published in academic journals. He is represented by Ronald Feldman Fine Arts in New York.
