POST… CLUB! Codame, 2020!
CODAME POST CLUB has masterfully optimized the balance between submission requirements and reproducibility - a true symphony of accessible creativity.
Attend POST CLUB
Passion pays itself forward. Donate to CODAME when you join a POST CLUB event so we can continue to print and play! Support the artists visibility by sending post card and putting up posters. Celebration is how we win, find or start one where ever you are!
Philosophy
Technological advances in methods of reproduction and distribution of reproduced materials has driven waves of artistic innovations. Mediums serving as the meta; enabling memetic spread of multitudes of artistic movements.
Likewise, reproducible installations has been a core tenant of CODAME as we built projects like SHYBOT (download the STL), ModBod (Creative Commons Remixable Archive of full body 3d scans), and our inspiring Sizzle Reels.
Codame Art Post Tech International Club is our latest project and format, making ART+TECH accessible to creators and fans in a timelessly tangible way.
Host Your Own POST CLUB
No matter where you are in the world you can host a monthly POST CLUB, no scale is too small or large:
For yourself (dedicate a screen in your home or office to phresh pixels),
For your friends (a perfect excuse to rotate local hosts),
For your community (making use of public, private, and institutional spaces),
Canvia Frames are beautiful displays that have been used to view POST CLUB art but any screen or print will do. How? All submitted artworks are formatted as stills in series for ideal viewing on standard HD displays, mounted in 9:16 portrait or 16:9 landscape formats. Bleed and margin guides ensure artists work reproduces as intended at assorted aspect ratios, from pocketable postcards to worship worthy wall hanging posters.
