The New Human - Creative Hackathon
Let’s imagine The New Human — ten years from now, in 2036.
Let’s build the future — Imaging together The New Human in 2036
We invite you to explore how you imagine The New Human ten years from now — and to begin shaping that future together.
Who can partecipate?
Anyone.
Whether you create art, write code, shape ideas, ask questions, or simply feel curious — you belong here. No prior experience is required.
This is where ideas take their first form.
A creative hackathon is not about technical skill alone. It is about expression. You can work in any medium: image, video, sound, performance, sculpture, poetry, installation — or something that does not yet have a name. Code is welcome, but never required. What matters is intention, imagination, and your connection to what The New Human could become.
Let’s imagine the world of 2036 — and begin building it.
『 The Journey 』
The New Human Creative Hackathon unfolds across cities and time zones as one shared global experience.

From the works created, selected projects continue forward with deeper support and visibility within the CODAME community, and into the ART+TECH Festival 2026.
Mentors
Guides. Challengers. Judges.
Our mentors are artists, technologists, founders, and researchers who help expand how we see and create.
They support teams through conversation, perspective, and thoughtful challenge. They also help identify the projects that will continue their journey into the festival.
They are not distant judges.
They are part of the process.

How to partecipate
If you have a team or project idea
You can share your project in advance with the CODAME community. This makes your idea visible, invites collaboration, and helps the right people find you.
Let your idea signal outward.
Let it attract the minds it is meant to meet.
If you do not have a team yet
You can join and form connections organically. Explore existing ideas, meet others, and join the projects that resonate with you.
Great teams emerge from diverse perspectives. Artists, thinkers, builders, storytellers, and explorers — each brings something essential.
Different minds.
Different mediums.
One shared exploration.
As you form or join a team, consider bringing together these archetypes:
The Alchemist — turns ideas into tangible form
The Storyworld Architect — shapes narrative and meaning
The Systems Imagineer — designs implications and ripple effects
The Embodied Explorer — grounds the work in human sensitivity and experienceThis hackathon is not an end. It is a beginning.
Together, selected projects will continue evolving into installations and experiences presented during Milano Art Week, Milano Design Week, and future exhibitions in San Francisco, Shanghai, and beyond.
We are not just imagining the future.
We are creating it.
This is only the beginning
Volunteers are at the heart of this experience. They support teams, hold the space, and help shape what this becomes — from within.
To volunteer is to participate in the unfolding.
Join the community helping bring The New Human into presence — in Milano, San Francisco, Shanghai, and future exhibitions and residencies around the world.
Have more questions?
So do we.
