Wake up call to society that from dawn of history doesn’t allow to deviate from heterosexual, patriarchal and militaristic narrative. We have become accustomed to living in a violent and masculine society operating under the guise of a Western and democratic state. An avant-garde women’s collection that re-examines defined boundaries The collection enables to tell my personal story, about the emotions I felt when I realized I’m a lesbian, my military service in a male-dominated environment, and the significance of living in a country with mandatory conscription. The colors were taken from the paintings of the artist Judith Bernstein I create by using military materials, such as nylons and camouflage nets, which, by changing their purpose and place, take on a new meaning.
