Build your own virtual art gallery in Minecraft with Hufo. This ia a workshop for all ages! No need to be a coder or a Minecraft expert, in this workshop Hufo will give you all the help you need to grasp some Minecraft foundations and basic commands and build your own virtual art gallery on Minecraft.
Skill Level
Open to all levels and ages. No specific background required for this workshop, just bring your curiosity!
Workshop Outline
This is a 2 hour workshop includes analog and digital exercises:
Introduction to Minecraft
Visit the CODAME Minecraft Art Gallery together
Exercise: Building gallery structure
Exercise: Uploading your art
Break out rooms: build your own galley or as a team
Show your gallery to the attendees
Required
Install Minecraft on your computer (link)
Minecraft account (you will be asked the username during ticket registration or workshop)
And the usual:
Computer & power/charger.
Zoom installed ahead of time.
Optional: 2nd monitor or screen so you can see the Zoom while working
If you are already an expert and interested to get access to the Minecraft CODAME Server to visit the gallery and build your own gallery, we are kindly asking for donations to keep our Minecraft server going for an extraordinary learning experience. Thank you!
