#CodeArtTogether Distilling Complexity Through Story with [Sara ElShafie](/artists/sara-elshafie) After the success of her workshop at the [CODAME](/orgs/codame) [ART+TECH FESTIVAL](/orgs/codame/events/codame-art-tech-festival-2013) 2019 『 SPACE 』we are thrilled to have Sara ElShafie back with an enhanced “[Science Through Story](/orgs/codame/events/workshop-science-through-story)” workshop at CODAME as part of our #CodeArtTogether series. We are dealing with a lot of complex issues today. You probably have something to say about them. But how do you distill your thoughts into a clear idea that can start a conversation? In this two-hour interactive workshop, we will explore how to distill a complex topic into a concise and compelling story brief enough to share on social media. We will also cover some basics of visual storytelling to create images that will make your post stand out. You will leave with a draft of a social media post and an accompanying concept sketch. We look forward to seeing your completed posts on social media after the workshop! This workshop is interactive throughout, including Think-Pair-Share exercises with partners in breakout sessions.
