Darius Ramazani

Darius Ramazani is a Berlin-based photographer and director working in portrait, people, documentary, advertising and social campaigning. For more than two decades his camera has served brands, magazines and record labels, and increasingly the causes he believes in: Caritas, Diakonie, Aktion Mensch, World Vision, Special Olympics, the Berliner Stadtmission. That commitment has been widely recognised. His work on **#unhatewomen** won a DDC Grand Prix and three Golds, ADC Golds, Eurobest Gold and London International Awards. **"Caritas – Jeder Mensch braucht ein Zuhause"** won a German Design Award Gold. He has also received BFF silver medals for *Old Skin*, a Red Dot and several iF communication design awards. Since 2018 he has run the [**Großfläche am Stuttgarter Platz**](https://ramazani.flasht.berlin/) in Berlin-Charlottenburg, a commercial billboard he sponsors week after week and hands to other creatives. Copywriters, illustrators, painters, type lovers and photographers each take the wall for a few weeks and show what they think a wall should look like. It has no rules, no target groups and no sales figures, only an open invitation to come out and play. The wall has hosted exhibitions, music, community calls for work and political statements, and it has sparked conversations and friendships among the people who stop in front of it.
