Serge Gualini
Serge Gualini (Data Painter) is a visual artist, AI artist, and filmmaker pioneering the intersection of artificial intelligence and data painting. Educated at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Visuels de La Cambre in Brussels, his practice explores the confluence of classical art history and contemporary digital aesthetics. His work bridges Flemish master techniques, Baroque chiaroscuro, and Renaissance composition with glitch art, urban street culture, plastics, and industrial iconography. Co-founder of the *Promptisme* movement and creator of *Algorithmic Assemblage Expressionism*, Serge develops a hybrid practice that spans algorithmic image generation, narrative AI films, and physical mixed-media art assemblages—mounting Fine Art prints onto antique lace, velvet textiles, and brass.
